Symphony supports the following contract vehicles

GSA   =   ALLIANT 3      ASTRO      OASIS      OASIS PLUS      POLARIS

DHA   =   HEC      MQS-NG      OMNIBUS    (Legacy) MQS

The following are frequently asked questions about signing in to Symphony:

How do I link my account to more than one company?

An email can only be linked to one company.

  • To access multiple companies on the same Symphony website, register with a unique email for each company.

Do not use a shared email address.

How do I find my administrator?

Find the Point of Contact (POC) information on the System for Award Management (SAM.gov).  (See Figure 1).

A SAM.gov Point of Contact is considered an authorized user for an organization.
(See Understanding the SAM Connection).

Note: Symphony does not recognize the "SAM Administrator" as a role.

What caused the "Authentication Failed" message?

If a user encounters an Authentication Failed message after entering their password:

  1. Use the Forgot Password link to troubleshoot.
  2. Check the spam/trash folder if the reset email doesn't arrive in a few minutes.
  3. Start a new registration.
  4. Contact us if there is a duplicate registration error.

Why is my account inactive?

If the account belongs to a SAM POC for an organization:

  1. Download or save a copy of the SAM record showing the POC names and emails for verification.
  2. Contact us and provide the SAM record with the UEI (Unique Entity Identifier) and POC information so we can verify access. (See Gaining Administrator Access).

An account stays in Initial status until it is activated by a registered SAM POC, a company administrator, or Symphony administrators (us).

How does an administrator activate an account?

When an administrator signs into Symphony, they should:

  1. Go to the Administration link.
  2. Click on the row for the user to manage.
  3. Change the user status from Initial to Active (see Managing Business Users).
  4. Save the changes.

Are other users alerted when someone registers for Symphony?

Symphony does not send notifications to the SAM POC(s) for the user's organization if they have not registered at the same Symphony website.

Registrants should contact their organization's SAM POC(s) and request that they register, sign in, and then activate their account (see Inactive Account Process).

Who was notified about my registration?

If no one receives an activation email, contact your SAM POC(s).

Request that the SAM POC(s) sign in or register themselves on the same Symphony website, then activate the registration (see Gaining Administrator Access).

Why must the organization's SAM POC sign in?

All users need to be activated by us or another administrator (see Gaining Administrator Access). There is no automatic activation.

To verify a SAM POC:

  1. Log in to SAM.gov.
  2. Under Search choose All Domains.
  3. Choose Entity Information.
  4. Search for the correct company.
  5. Click on the company name.
  6. Go to the Points of Contact tab.
  7. Verify that names and email addresses are listed.
  8. Contact us with the entity record (download or print screen) showing the user's role as a Point of Contact.

Why can't an Administrator see an individual account? Why aren't all users accounts visible?

There is a mismatch in the UEI and CAGE (Commercial and Government Entity) code or the website address.

  • Ensure that users are registered for the same company and on the same Symphony site.

Contact us with the correct UEI and CAGE code if issues persist.

Why can't I see a new solicitation?

Symphony operates on multiple websites.

Verify use of the correct link from the solicitation or Request for Proposals (RFP).
